What to bring on your first day

If you are taking Hat Making classes:

You will need to purchase and bring with you:

For the 12 Hour Hat Making Class:

one straw capeline if you would like to make a straw hat for spring summer


or one felt capeline if you would like to make a felt hat for autumn winter
(for 12 hour class)

For the 24 Hour Hat Making Class:

two straw capelines (as above) if you would like to make two straw hats for spring summer
or
two felt capelines (as above) if you would like to make two felt hats for autumn winter
or
one straw capeline and one felt capeline if you would like to make one one hat for spring summer and one hat for autumn winter

For the 48 Hour Hat Making Class:

three straw capelines (as above) if you would like to make 3 straw hats for spring summer
or
three felt capelines (as above) if you would like to make 3 felt hats for autumn winter
or
one straw capeline and two felt capelines if you would like to make to make one hat for spring summer and two hats for autumn winter
or
two straw capelines and one felt capeline if you would like to make to make two hats for spring summer and one hat for autumn winter

You also need to bring with you:

Apron
Thimble
Scissors
Note book

Also Prudence has a large supply of thread, it is advisable to try to buy a spool of threat to match your capeline in felt and / or in straw.

All other supplies i.e. pins, regular needles, threads, are supplied by Prudence Millinery.

Please note : Felt capelines or straw capelines are not hats.
The capeline is the raw material.
You are going to block this shape to make your hat. 
All will be explained in your classes.
